When you arrive in Phnom Penh, you are picked up at the
airport and taken to your hotel. On Saturday we get together
for a little walking tour of the river area and a welcome
dinner, during which plans for the class and future excursions
are laid out.
PHNOM PENH ATTRACTIONS
Phnom Penh is the famous capital city of Cambodia that was
literally "empied out" by the Khmer Rouge at the end of the
Vietnam War (see "Killing Fields"). Come explore the revitalizing
of the city. We sill spend time on the river walk, as well
as exploring the beautiful Grand Palace and the National Museum.
