THE TEFL / TESOL PROGRAM
The HEART of the program is a specially designed 150 hour
TEFL / TESOL course that combines what we feel are the essentials
of what you need to become an effective Teacher and to successful
in your new country. The program has an academic class work
component, a foreign language component, and a teaching
practice component. By the end of the course, participants
will complete 150 hours of TEFL / TESOL training:
• 125 hours of coursework material and in-class work
with the TEFL / TESOL instructor
• 25 hours of volunteer English teaching

The TEFL / TESOL program in Kenya is located in Nairobi
– the busy business district offering a skyline unique
to Africa but not unlike the major cities of Asia and/or
the United States. The school is located approximately 15
km from the international airport. The school offers spacious
classrooms, audio-visual tools, and a small library.
Course Recognition
This world recognized TEFL / TESOL course is offered by
our partner institute who is a member of the following professional
organizations: The College of Teachers, Association of Illinois
Bilingual Education (ITBE), International Association of
Teaching English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL), California
